Cette \u00e9quation traduit en fait le couple que le cycliste doit exercer sur le p\u00e9dalier pour contrer les efforts r\u00e9sistants et se d\u00e9placer \u00e0 une vitesse donn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie (travail) fournie par le cycliste en une unit\u00e9 de temps. Cette puissance exprim\u00e9e en Watt correspond \u00e0 la quantit\u00e9 de Joule produits en 1 seconde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;\u00e9quation de mouvement ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 construite pour donner le couple au niveau du p\u00e9dalier, la puissance fournie par le cycliste sera d\u00e9termin\u00e9e en faisant le produit de ce couple [en N.m] par la vitesse de rotation du p\u00e9dalier [en rad\/sec]. N}{30}' class='latex' \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La connaissance de plusieurs facteurs intervenant dans la formule (acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration, pente, braquet, cadence&#8230;) n&rsquo;\u00e9tant pas possible en temps r\u00e9el, l&rsquo;exploitation de la puissance instantan\u00e9e n\u00e9cessitera l&rsquo;acquisition d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me de mesure de puissance d\u00e9di\u00e9 : LOOK K\u00e9o Power, SRM, Powertap sont autant de solutions possibles. Ces syst\u00e8mes restent toutefois co\u00fbteux et les informations fournies difficiles \u00e0 exploiter pleinement pour l&rsquo;amateur.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00c9nergie instantan\u00e9e<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il serait faux de chercher \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie instantan\u00e9e puisque celle-ci est par d\u00e9finition la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie [J] consomm\u00e9e par un syst\u00e8me pendant un temps donn\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img src='https:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=E%28t%29+%3D+%5Cint_%7Bt_%7Binit%7D%7D%5E%7Bt_%7Bfin%7D%7D+P%28t%29dt&#038;bg=121315&#038;fg=ffffff&#038;s=0' alt='E(t) = \\int_{t_{init}}^{t_{fin}} P(t)dt' title='E(t) = \\int_{t_{init}}^{t_{fin}} P(t)dt' class='latex' \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous pourrions toutefois \u00eatre tent\u00e9 de d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie fournie dans un laps de temps limit\u00e9 (<img src='https:\/\/s0.wp.com\/latex.php?latex=t_%7Bfin%7D-t_%7Binit%7D+faible&#038;bg=121315&#038;fg=ffffff&#038;s=0' alt='t_{fin}-t_{init} faible' title='t_{fin}-t_{init} faible' class='latex' \/>), pour \u00e9valuer par exemple la qualit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une s\u00e9ance de fractionn\u00e9. La mesure de cette \u00e9nergie ne faite sur un temps limit\u00e9 mais ne sera pas instantan\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La notion d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie reste malgr\u00e9 tout int\u00e9ressante puisqu&rsquo;elle fait appara\u00eetre la \u00ab\u00a0dur\u00e9e de l&rsquo;effort\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3>Puissance moyenne<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La puissance moyenne est la valeur moyenne de la puissance que le cycliste aura du d\u00e9velopper pour parcourir X kilom\u00e8tres et Y m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9\u00a0 en un temps T donn\u00e9. Cette puissance est la moyenne de l&rsquo;ensemble des puissances fournies \u00e0 chaque seconde du parcours par le cycliste.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Mais l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat principal de cette puissance est de pouvoir \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9e en moyennant chaque param\u00e8tre entre le point de d\u00e9part et le point d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e.
